Free Press Uncovers Abandoned Police Evidence
In 2008 the Detroit crime lab located in Brush Park was ordered to be closed due to “sloppy investigations.” But apparently the sloppiness didn’t end when the unit stopped handling investigations. Heroin Use Up Among Detroit Suburbanites
Wide availability and a high cheaper and more intense than “gateway” prescription drugs, heroin is back and stronger than ever. According to the Detroit News, surrounding suburbs are seeing a dramatic rise in deaths associated with the drug while the metro area isn’t seeing any noticeable fluctuation at all.
